Putting together a scrapbook is like reading a big picture pop out book for adults. In every page I turn, it tells a story. How many times have you looked in your mom or grandma's picture albums and wondering "Where was this? Who is this? or "What were they doing?" When you create a scrapbook there are pictures, memorabilia, and journaling. The sky is the limit and who is tell you that you are doing it wrong.
I want to preserve my memories and give something nice for family and friends to share. A lot of love and time goes into scrapbooks. I love to create and use my imagination. And when I am feeling not so creative, there are layouts and other ideas from friends that I can use too.
Scrap booking also is way for me to enjoy the company of other ladies. There might be men out there that would like it too, but I have yet to scrap with any, not that they wouldn't be welcome. It gives me a way of escaping the hectic of day to day. My husband gets this from his video games. Others get it from sewing, golf, hunting, fishing, etc. I get mine from crafting and scraping.
